Photos: Miss Campus Queen 2009 crowned in Odaiba

The final round of the Miss Campus Queen Contest 2009 was held at the Venus Fort shopping mall in Tokyo's Odaiba district on Dec. 20, with 10 Miss Campus winners from across the country taking part.
The winner of the Grand Prix this year was Ai Komatsu, 21, a third year student at J. F. Oberlin University from Tokyo.
"I was just happy to be here today, and receiving the award is overwhelming," said Komatsu during her acceptance speech. "I want to be a woman who is loved by everyone."
Komatsu, who worked as a model and actress during her high school years, said that she would like to consider a career in showbusiness if an opportunity offers itself.
The second prize was awarded to Yuka Saito, a third-year student at Gakushuin University, and Senshu University sophomore Hifumi Hino won the Barbie Award (jury's special award).
The contest is scheduled to be broadcast by Fuji Television Network at 1:10 a.m. on Feb. 20 next year.
