About 450 cars adorned with illustrations of popular anime and video game characters attracted a throng of fans at an "otaku" car festival in Tokyo's Odaiba on Sunday.
The festival, entitled "Itasha G Fesuta," was organized by a graphic magazine specializing in "itasha" -- a Japanese term for cars with their bodies colorfully painted with characters from anime, manga and video games. In addition to an array of cars, also on display were bikes and bicycles that were decorated by anime fans, plastic models and car stickers.
